Our Mission

"Preserving our Past, Protecting the Present, Ensuring your Future"

The Department of Campus Security contributes to the overall successful development of students through a combination of student centered active and passive programming uniquely designed to challenge, inform, and build a sense of safety both within the Mount community and abroad. Furthermore, the Department is committed to providing a safe learning environment through the utilization of campus-oriented community safety philosophies, and actively solicits and encourages cooperation and support of all members of the university community to decrease the opportunities for crime and facilitate the maximum use of its resources.

Additionally, feel free to review our Public Safety category on the interactive campus map to stay informed on campus entrances/exits, emergency telephone locations, and security booths.
